"Feet-first, intact extraction abortions are done on living fetuses"

The latest Planned Parenthood baby parts trafficking video released by The Center for Medical Progress shows Austin, Texas Dr., Amna Dermish, describing a partial birth-abortion procedure to terminate living, late-term fetuses which she "hopes will yield intact fetal heads for brain harvesting."

According to a CMP press release, "... Dr. Dermish admits she was trained by the Senior Director of Medical Services at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Dr. Deborah Nucatola. Nucatola described a partial-birth abortion technique to harvest fetal organs in the first Planned Parenthood video released July 14 by CMP..."

The released video shows Dr. Dermish saying:
"...My aim is usually to get the specimens out pretty intact ..."
Dermish reportedly was speaking to actors posing as a fetal tissue procurement company. Dermish admits that she will sometimes use ultrasound guidance to convert a 2nd-trimester fetus to a feet-first breech presentation: “Especially the 20-weekers are a lot harder versus the 18-weekers, so at that point I’ll switch to breech.”

A Dermish reply to a question about harvesting a fetal brain: "...“I haven’t been able to do that yet ... This will give me something to strive for! ...”

CMP says that Dermish does not use the chemical digoxin to kill the fetus before 20 weeks, so her feet-first, intact extraction abortions are done on living fetuses. Using ultrasound guidance to manipulate the fetus from vertex to breech orientation before extracting the yet-living fetus is a hallmark of the illegal partial-birth abortion procedure (18 U.S.C. 1531).

"...Dermish also affirms a fetal body part price of $50 or $60 per specimen. The sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2) ... The state of Texas recently moved to disbar Planned Parenthood from taxpayer funding on account of Medicaid fraud and abortion-related crimes ..."

CMP quotes Texas Governor Greg Abbot saying that "... the state of Texas is now in possession of 'hard evidence' that Planned Parenthood is engaged in 'violations of federal and state law concerning abortion procedures.' ..."

About a week ago Texas officials raided the facilities of Planned Parenthood, just a few days after the agency was barred from receiving state Medicaid funds.

Jon Herskovitz writes in the Huffington Post:

"...The raids were carried out at Planned Parenthood health centers in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio by representatives from the Texas Office of the Inspector General ... The Inspector General's office declined to comment. Its agents were seen on local news reports entering a Planned Parenthood facility in San Antonio ... Texas, the most populous Republican-controlled U.S. state, said it would launch a probe of Planned Parenthood after the release of videos in July by anti-abortion activist group Center for Medical Progress in which a Planned Parenthood official is seen talking about transactions involving fetal tissue ... Texas Governor Greg Abbott said this week 'the gruesome harvesting of baby body parts by Planned Parenthood will not be allowed,' but so far the state has released no evidence of illegal activity by the group.' ..."

The U.S. House of Representatives in early October established a special committee to investigate Planned Parenthood. In a 242 to 184 vote, with two Democrats voting in favor and one Republican voting against the measure, the House created a 14 member panel to probe Planned Parenthood after a series of videos was released by the Center for Medical progress, allegedly showing the harvesting of tissue from aborted fetuses to sell for profit to agencies that use the baby parts for "research."

Steven Ertelt at LifeNews.com tells us that Democrat Candidate for President Hillary Clinton, responded to the formation of the special investigative committee as a "witchhunt."

"... Clinton claims the creation of a special committee to investigate Planned Parenthood is 'just code for a partisan witch hunt.' She then pivots to the smaller amount of legitimate health care Planned Parenthood provides — as if helping women with a pap smear makes up for aborting babies and selling their hearts and livers ... She claims pro-lifers upset with Planned Parenthood forget 'the mom who caught her cancer early thanks to a screening at Planned Parenthood,' and 'the young woman who avoided an unintended pregnancy because she did have access to birth control.' ..."

But Center for Medical Progress Project Lead, David Daleiden says:

"... Less than 4 miles away from the Texas state capitol, Planned Parenthood routinely practices barbaric partial-birth abortions on living, late-term fetuses ... Planned Parenthood’s crimes are not just the result of local bad actors, but are tolerated and even encouraged at the highest levels of the national organization. State-level criminal investigations must press charges, and Congress’ new select committee must pursue a deep and comprehensive accounting of Planned Parenthood’s atrocities against humanity.”
